A survey of IS managers of Australia's largest companies provided a ranking of 35 IS security issues in terms of their perceived importance during the next few years. Most attention will be directed at the operational aspects of IS security, particularly to access control, networks, and disaster recovery. Security planning and control issues were also seen as important, and other implications arise from the IS security issues not identified and differences in perceptions among major industries.
