CHARLOTTE, N.C. _ Evangelist Billy Graham remained in fair condition Sunday at an Asheville hospital after being admitted this weekend for evaluation and treatment for intestinal bleeding.
Graham is "steadily improving," his staff and family said in a statement posted Sunday afternoon on the Web site of Mission Health & Hospitals.
"He watched the televised service of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg, SC, led by Dr. Don Wilton, as he does each Sunday at home, then ate a Sunday chicken dinner," the statement said. "He has been walking in the hallways near his room, and continues to visit with friends and family."
