Aug. 18--Ten years ago, 42-year-old Anthony Taylor was an outlaw biker who didn't play by the rules.

"My life was full of drugs and alcohol and crime," he told a crowd of about 75 people Friday. "You see, I'm a seven-time convicted felon that's been shot four different times -- in and out of jails and prisons over and over again."

But today, he manages Royal Metal Industries in Olathe, has bought a nice big house and is raising three children with his wife, Marta.

"We are not just raising these kids, we are equipping them to change the world," he said. "It can all happen because you helped me change my world."
