MORRISON: What a wonderful car. Stunning looks, especially the front and rear views, and a ball to put through a workout. With this powertrain and inherent "Audiness,'' it reminds me of the S4 but up a notch. The chassis is incredibly rigid, the interior is beautiful and the cockpit features one of the best driving positions I've ever come across. In almost every car, I extend the steering column as far as it will go, then set the seat to where I have ideal arm position on the wheel. Often, this leaves my legs closer than I would like to the pedals, something I've become used to accepting. It's either that or have my arms farther from the wheel than I like. You can toss this car around like a rag doll without a whimper of protest. Oh, and the clutch/gearbox action is fantastic, perhaps Audi's best setup other than the R8's.
WILSON: I think this is gorgeous; there's a hint of R8 in the face, and this may be the first car to integrate that grille motif properly. I do wish it were some other color; I'm sick unto death of various shades of gray, silver and black, but the red interior suggests that at least one person in Ingolstadt isn't ...
