FLOOD DAMAGE SEES WORCESTERSHIRE GPS RELOCATE
DeMontfort Medical Centre in Evesham, Worcestershire, has set up in a local school after contaminated flood water destroyed clinical equipment at the surgery. The extent of the damage is so great that staff predict that the practice will need to remain in temporary accommodation until December. Practice manager John Hopkinson said: 'As the water that flooded through the premises was contaminated, much of our equipment, including diagnostic sets, fridges and fitted furniture, had to be written off.'
