The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) is proposing to require a statement of alcohol content, expressed as a percentage of volume, on all alcoholic beverages. The label would also include a "serving facts" component, which would list the number of calories, carbohydrates, fat, and a standard serving size. The proposed rule would establish specific serving sizes for wine, distilled spirits, and malt beverages, based on the amount of beverage customarily consumed in a single serving.
