Aug. 14--Water service in the Sherrills Ford area will be interrupted from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday due to a water line relocation.

City of Hickory utilities officials are moving part of a water line due to the widening of Sherrills Ford Road at Sherrills Ford Elementary School.
