Aug. 11--Chattanooga Endeavors is ready to extend its reach into other areas of the state, said Chief Executive Officer Tim Dempsey, who hopes to help more people transition back into society and work toward financial self-sufficiency.
For the past three years, the local nonprofit has been fine-tuning a post-incarceration work program that generates income for its clients and the organization.
"Ideally, if it works out, it'll end up being a funding source for the nonprofits we're working with," Mr. Dempsey said. "We want to share that profit."
