Dutch, regarding your July 23 column ("Why Can't We Be Left Alone?''), if distracted drivers are responsible for 80 percent of accidents, how can voice-messaging "Vivee'' help that by providing a served-up distraction? It has nothing to do with physically dialing or pushing buttons, since most modern cars have power steering and automatic transmissions needing a single foot and a few fingers to operate physically. This is about concentrating on the task at hand, which, given its potential for great carnage and lethality, ought to be given our undivided attention.
