New Visions Charter School has been awarded a $500,000 grant from the Minnesota Department of Education to build a science classroom at the school's campus in northeast Minneapolis. The grant will pay for building the Jane Goodall Roots & Shoots science classroom at the school, which serves about 235 K-8 students from Minneapolis.
