New role for planning partner as Senior prepares to divide time between Fallon and Saatchis London.

Laurence Green, the Fallon London planning partner, is expected to be confirmed as the new head of the agency. The move follows Robert Senior's appointment as the UK chief executive of Publicis Groupe's newly formed Saatchi & Saatchi-Fallon Group (SSF) (Campaign, 20 July).

Day-to-day running of the London office will remain with the Fallon partners Karina Wilsher, the managing director; Mark Sinnock, the director of strategy; and Juan Cabral, the creative director.

While Senior will continue to work at Fallon, a source close to the agency says he will spend much of his time attempting to turn around Saatchis' struggling London office. He will report to the Saatchis worldwide chief executive, Kevin Roberts, who will head SSF in the US.

Senior is interviewing for what the agency is billing as a 'super' managing director - something more than an MD, but less than a chief executive - for the Saatchis London office, with an appointment expected early in the autumn.
