Jul. 28--TAMPA -- When it comes to skin care, finding the right combination of products can be as challenging as finding the season's must-have sandal on sale ... and in a size 11.

Store shelves are stacked high with gels, creams, lotions and other concoctions that promise to peel back time, clear up acne and improve elasticity. Most women will go through several different skin-care brands before finding one that works for them, and often they'll settle on a hodgepodge of products from different lines.

"I use Dove soap as my cleanser, [green] alcohol for my astringent and Ambi for my moisturizer," says Isha Flores, a 33-year-old bank manager from Trinidad with flawless skin. "I don't worry about products being from the same line. I don't think they work any better than what I use. I don't even use makeup from the same brands."
