Jul. 25--The Charlotte-Mecklenburg School Board has promoted a pair of assistant principals to become principals at two of the system's more popular magnet elementary schools.

Anna Moraglia has been named principal of Park Road Montessori School, and Paul Bonner was named principal at Myers Park Traditional Elementary School.

Both appointments were approved by the school board at its meeting Tuesday night.

Morgalia had been assistant principal at Community House Middle School. She takes over at what might be the most popular school in the CMS system. Park Road Montessori annually has a waiting list of several hundred…
