Jul. 21--MOSCOW -- Avoca/Dupont needs to come out today mad.
Manager Chuck Hannon said as much, and considering Friday's performance the District 16 East champion has every right to have a chip on its shoulder.
Avoca/Dupont gave away three runs on errors and just once had a key hit as North Pocono posted a 4-2 victory Friday night in a Section 5 Little League Baseball opening-round game at North Pocono Little League.
The tournament moves to Lakeland's Scott Township field today, with Avoca/Dupont playing D16 West champ Edwardsville/Larksville at 5:30 p.m. D17 South champion North Pocono and D17 North champ Lakeland play …
