Jul. 13--Dr. Paul Smith will replace Dr. Elaine Swafford as executive principal of Howard School for Academics and Technology next year, Hamilton County Schools Superintendent Jim Scales announced on Friday. Wendy Jung will replace Dr. Ava Warren as the associate principal.

"We were looking to create an administrative team at Howard that would be there for the long term and be dedicated to student success," Dr. Scales said in a statement. "I know Dr. Smith and Ms. Jung will be committed to helping all Howard students succeed."
