WHO: Adam Lapsevich remembered the embarking travelers.

"Every day 2,500 people got on ships and what did they bring? Their cameras,'' said Mr. Lapsevich, president of Digital Design Video Productions Ltd. of South Russell Village.

Mr. Lapsevich was a cruise ship entertainer in the early 1990s and then moved into sales with Carnival Cruise Lines in Miami. For 13 years, after relocating to Cleveland in 1994, he was regional sales manager for several cruise lines, including Cunard Line of Valencia, Calif.

In 2005, Mr. Lapsevich and Tom Mulligan co-founded Digital Design Video to create DVD movie montages from vacation photographs and movies, complete with captioning, graphics, special effects and music soundtracks.
