School wins OK to build campus: Decision was delayed by concerns about traffic.

Jul. 5--Pine Lake Preparatory charter school now has a permanent home, although students won't attend that campus until August 2008.

The Mooresville town board Monday approved a conditional use permit that allows the school to build its campus as planned on N.C. 115 in Mount Mourne.

The board had delayed its decision a month because of concerns about traffic.

The campus on about 24 acres just south of Langtree Road, site of the future Interstate 77 Exit 32, will feature a two-lane loop road to keep traffic moving on campus as parents drop off students.

As a charter school, Pine Lake won't offer school bus…
