04 JULY 2007 FUNAFUTI (Pacnews) ---- The Pacific nation of Tuvalu has launched its Millennium Development Goal (MDG) Report, Tuvalu Media Corporation reports.
Tuvalu s finance and economic minister Lotoala Metia said Tuvalu was the third Least Developed Country (LDC) to launch its MDG report and was the outcome of a long extensive and complicated effort that began in August 2004.
The first National MDG report was prepared by a taskforce that carried out consultations with government departments and members of civil society organisations.
Mr Metia said Tuvalu's commitment to achieving the eight MDG goals feature prominently in Te Kakeega II, Tuvalu's …
