A scientist recently fired from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) has sued his former employer for wrongful dismissal, arguing he was terminated in retaliation for his request to testify before the state legislature about atrazine concentrations in Minnesota water.
Paul Wotzka, a hydrologist who began working for the MPCA on October 23, 2006 and was fired on May 8, 2007, filed a complaint June 14 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
