Oneida Ltd. announced on Monday that its new distribution center in Bryan County, Ga., near the Port of Savannah, is fully operational and handling all of the company's shipping requirements for the eastern half of the U.S.
Construction of the 500,000-square-foot leased facility was completed on schedule in January, and Oneida began initial operations at the center in April.
"The Savannah facility completes our U.S. supply chain strategy, providing vastly improved transit times, and therefore increasing speed to market," Oneida President Jim Joseph said.
