Jun. 29--Democrats are slamming the top administrator in Bucks County's government for participating in a $500-per-person fundraiser for the county Republican Party.

Steve Santarsiero, one of the Democrats seeking a county commissioner seat in November's election, said Chief Operating Officer David Sanko appearance at the GOP event "raises the appearance of impropriety."

"He's being paid on public money, he is a public employee, and he's also working for their campaign," Santarsiero said.

Sanko, who makes more than $132,000 per year in his appointed position, said he broke no rules since the event wasn't on county…
