The field of business communication is expanding as practitioners more clearly articulate their communication needs and as scholars better define the parameters and key constructs of the field. No longer confined to teaching primarily written skills, business communication educators have embraced the entire spectrum of communication principles and practices essential to effective management in today's fast-paced, ever-changing organizational environments.
