Jun. 23--RUMFORD, R.I. -- Coastal Carolina senior Dustin Johnson shot a third-round 3-over 72 Friday and is in third heading into today's final round of the 46th Northeast Amateur at Wannamoisett Country Club.

The University of Florida's Billy Horschel also shot a 72 and remains the leader at 6-over 201. Kevin Chappell of Fresno, Calif., is second at 203, while Johnson is at 205.

Johnson birdied the 12th while Horschel bogeyed it, leaving the score tied. But Horschel responded with a pair of birdies on 13 and 14 and Johnson bogeyed the same holes.

Three are tied for third at 206.
