OUTDOOR DINING IS MAIN COURSE ON E. FOURTH
* Outdoor dining will be added to the East Fourth Street menu in a big way this summer as the road through the downtown entertainment district will become a pedestrian-only boulevard through early fall. The Corner Alley, Lola Bistro, Flannery's Irish Pub and Pickwick & Frolic will offer outdoor seating for the first time. In addition, House of Blues plans an expansion of its existing outdoor dining area, and three restaurants expected to open this summer - La Strada, Wonder Bar and Zocalo Cantina - should bring the number of seats to about 300. - John Booth
Health care event draws global interest
* More than 260 people, including 85 investors, have registered for the Global Healthcare Investing Conference, set for this Wednesday and Thursday at the InterContinental Hotel on the Cleveland Clinic campus. Event organizer BioEnterprise Corp. exceeded its goal of drawing 200 people and 50 investors, said Baiju Shah, president of the nonprofit, which assists health care companies. The first-time event likely will be held again because of strong interest, Mr. Shah said. A third of the investors are from overseas. - Chuck Soder
