Danielle Elizabeth Liotta of Mooresville died June 2 as a result of an automobile accident. She was 19 and had just completed her first year at UNC Chapel Hill, where she had made the dean's list. She was majoring in biology and chemistry with a minor in Spanish and was in the marching band. She played clarinet in the symphonic band and was a member of the Mu Beta Psi music fraternity.
