Jun. 19--David Witt is working on his second master's degree, but he's far from a 20-something "professional student" avoiding the workplace.
Instead, the 45-year-old small business owner from Dalton, Ga., is one of a growing number of baby boomers working toward mid-career graduate degrees to help keep up with a changing marketplace.
"You're under a ton of pressure for proficiency these days," Mr. Witt said. "There's not as much wiggle room to make your business a success."
