Q What is your name and job title?
Alison Parsons, head of client services and analytics, GI Insight.
Q What does your job involve? Is there a lot of pressure?
GI Insight is a data marketing firm providing loyalty schemes, data analysis and insight to businesses that have a transactional relationship with their customers. I manage two departments - the client services and analytics team and the customer service team. My main responsibility is ensuring their work is accurate, on time and to budget. A little pressure is a good thing to keep us focused. I know I'm under too much pressure when my bin is full of chocolate wrappers.
Q Are you part of a team or do you work alone?
I work very closely with both my teams and have daily contact with everyone. I also work alone on projects.
