LOS ANGELES _ High above the valley of shallowness otherwise known as Hollywood, the Getty Center exudes highbrow culture.

Actual culture? In L.A?

It's true. Up here, there are no Lindsay Lohans in sight.

Instead, it has incredible views, glorious architecture by Richard Meier, artful gardens and priceless paintings by guys named Van Gogh and Monet.

Even better, it's free. And the museum has pretty much solved its parking issues.
