Florida chain adds Holiday Inn

Some big names in Columbus's business community have sold the city's 10th largest hotel.

City Centre Limited Partnership, which was managed by members of billionaire Leslie S. Wexner's Wexner Investment Co., has sold the 245-room Holiday Inn City Center for $5.8 million. City Centre partners include New Albany Co. Chairman John W. Kessler, Bohm NBBJ Inc. principal Friedrich K.M. Bohm and Baker & Hostetler partner Michael E. Moritz.

The buyer, Florida hotel owner and operator Servico Inc., plans to put another $1.4 million into renovating the hotel, bringing its total investment in the property to $7.2 million, or approximately …
