Most of what you need to know about the 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe arrived in your mailbox a few weeks back ("Sporting Intentions,'' AW, May 28).
In that report, we found the 2.5-liter, 175-hp, 180-lb-ft inline-four and six-speed manual a good match for the coupe's soft-sport intentions. Now that we've spent some time behind the wheel of the coupe equipped with a 3.5-liter, 270-hp, 258-lb-ft V6, we can't say it is worth the extra money.
