Merger mania rampant; firms find safety, diversity in numbers
LAWRENCEVILLE - Witalis Burke Associates Inc. acquired both Outlook Advertising and Modcom Advertising last week.
The new entity, with billings of approximately $6 million, will continue to be known as Witalis Burke, said Jim Burke, chief executive officer of the 19-year-old design and communications firm. He declined to divulge the financial terms of the deal.
The merger increases the agency's client roster and areas of specialization. Specifically, Modcom brings an expertise in electronic communications, while Outlook adds two accounts in the dairy industry.
