SACRAMENTO, Calif. _ Bill Richardson brought his Democratic presidential campaign to Sacramento on Tuesday, and it seemed for a while as if he were running for governor of California.
Meeting reporters after a fundraiser at Sacramento's Zocalo restaurant, the New Mexico governor first wanted to make it clear that he was a California native.
"I was born in Pasadena, although I didn't spend much time there. Full disclosure, three hours," said Richardson, whose Mexican mother and American father, a Mexico City bank executive, went on to raise him in Mexico until he was 13.
