Jun. 10--It had been three weeks since the Richmond Kickers had enjoyed a victory, and the way they played in the opening half last night, another draw appeared in the offing.
Richmond allowed Wilmington to control the ball for much of the first 45 minutes, even though the Hammerheads couldn't solve goalkeeper Ronnie Pascale.
"It was real disappointing that they were able to dictate the play," Richmond coach Leigh Cowlishaw said. "We sat back and didn't really put them under any pressure. They knocked it around quite nicely."
