Engineered using Perpendicular Magnetic Recording (PMR) technology, MHY2250BH series is available in capacities from 40-250 GB and offers near-silent operation with acoustics rated to 2.4 bels typ during idle. This 2.5 in. 5,400 rpm HDD employs SATA 1.5 Gbps interface and offers typical respective read/write seek times of 12/14 ms. To optimize power usage in portable products, drive consumes 0.6 W when idle and 0.13 W in standby/sleep modes.
