Jun. 5--Biotechnology giant Genentech has unveiled promising new data involving several of its key cancer-fighting drugs, including a study made public Monday that showed its drug Avastin helps kidney cancer patients survive nearly twice as long when given with another drug.

Yet the studies Genentech presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology's annual meeting in Chicago drew mixed reviews from analysts.
