Jun. 1--After nearly three days of searching, authorities recovered Randle Terry's body after it washed ashore on the south bank of Spring Creek.

"I don't know if we could have stayed out there two or three more days wondering if he was dead or alive," said Mechera Burrell, the victim's second cousin. "It's hard."

The body was discovered about 1:30 p.m. Thursday, said Cindy Wisdom, a case manager with Texas EquuSearch, which joined the search with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday.
