Craig County 2, James River 1
COVINGTON -- Josie Dillon pitched a five-hitter, striking out eight and walking none to lead the second-seeded Rockets to a win over the defending district and Group A champs in the title game.
Abbie Rexrode pitched a one-hitter for the top-seeded Knights (14-6), striking out 17 and walking one.
Karli Memmer doubled and scored in the third to give the Knights a 1-0 lead, but the Rockets took advantage of four James River errors to score two runs in the sixth. Craig County will visit Grayson County in the Region C playoffs Tuesday. James River will host Galax on Tuesday.

INDEPENDENCE -- Kayla Spurlin struck out 11 in the win over the Maroon Tide.
Grayson County scored five runs in the fourth inning. Caitlyn Anderson went 3-for-3 with two RBIs, and Lindsey Burris batted 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Blue Devils (17-2).
Caci Higgins went 2-for-3 and scored two runs for Galax.
