May 20--TAMPA -- John Aaron McDade, wearing his powder-blue Elvis Presley jumpsuit and sporting mutton chop sideburns, struck a pose and leaned in between four adoring female fans in the courtyard at Channelside Bay Plaza.
After one of their husbands, George Tower, snapped a photo, McDade said, "Thank you," before pausing to curl his lip and adding the obligatory, "Thank you, very much."
And, yes, his middle name was selected by his mother, Elizabeth, in honor of Elvis Aaron Presley. McDade, a Polk Correctional Institution officer in Polk City, was one of 35 competing Saturday in The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest.…
