Denise is appreciating the Andrettis-whose "luck'' at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is way overdue to turn good-on the other half of this page. I'm tempted to write "What she said!'' but then I'd be 422 words shy of a column. So, instead, may I suggest we prepare for an onslaught of A.J. Foyt stories?
It's been 40 years since Foyt's third Indy 500 victory and 30 since his landmark fourth. It's also been 50 years since his first major race win, in a midget at Kansas City on May 12, 1957. We simple-minded press types love round numbers, so Foyt will get plenty of headlines this month of Indy.
