Following the mid-April departure of Anne Asensio from the General Motors design staff, GM elevated its interior design chief, David Rand, to Asensio's former slot as executive director of global advanced design. Asia-Pacific design director David Lyon takes over interiors for Rand.
Bryan Nesbitt returns from GM Europe design to North America, where he'll be vice president of design. Completing the team are Michael Simcoe, who becomes executive director of exterior design for North America; Mark Adams, who will head GM Europe design; and Kenneth Parkinson, who takes on the Asia-Pacific design job.
