PHILADELPHIA _ All six men held in an alleged terrorist plot to murder Fort Dix soldiers were ordered held without bail during a detention hearing in Camden, N.J., Friday morning.
During the hearing, a federal prosecutor described a Philadelphia cabbie as a leader of the plot. Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephen Stigall said federal agents found a map of Fort Dix in Mohamad Ibrahim Shnewer's home.
Stigall said Shnewer "tried to recruit the others" and did surveillance of one military base on his own. On tape-recorded conversations, the prosecutor said, Shnewer "stated his intent to kill" U.S. soldiers.
