Three large U.S. auto suppliers last week posted a combined loss of $333 million during the quarter that ended in March, with a sizable chunk of those losses coming from one-time restructuring charges.
Visteon Corp., the troubled former parts unit of Ford Motor Co., said it lost $153 million on revenue of $2.93 billion during the quarter. That compares with net income of $3 million on revenue of $2.96 billion during the same quarter last year.
The supplier of interior, climate control and electronics parts said it took $91 million in special charges.
