May 9--BURLINGTON -- Students at Burlington High School were greeted this morning by police and bag checks after a "low-level threat" was found scrawled on a school wall Monday evening, police said.

Officials at Burlington High School found the threat Monday evening and notified Burlington police and the Northeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council School Threat Assessment Response System to search the school for any suspicious devices.

Nothing was found, but there was an increased police presence at the school yesterday morning, and all bags were checked before students were allowed inside.
