I was shocked to hear the news! Bumble Bee Boats has been my vacation destination for the last 12 or 13 years. I bought my first 'Bee, a 174 Vee, in 1984 and I loved it. I fished out of it in South Florida for years. We don't see many Bees down here, but to me, it was the greatest. The first year the company introduced the 290, I saw one at the factory, and decided when it was time for a new boat, that one was it. As I was approached retirement I called and ordered my new 'Bee, the 290 Pro Sport, just the way I wanted it with custom colors and equipment. I arranged to pick it up at the factory, where I was able to watch the final stages of rigging. What a treat to see a 10-year ...
