The Telegraph Group has signed a print deal with its rival News International that will help it to print The Daily Telegraph and The Sunday Telegraph in full colour.
The decision means the Telegraph Group will abandon plans for a pounds 150 million upgrade of its current print sites. Its southern editions are printed at West Ferry, as part of a joint venture with Richard Desmond's Express Newspapers, and its northern editions are printed at Trafford Park, which it runs with Guardian Media Group.
