May 3--Voters in Bedminster Township will elect a new supervisor for the first time in about a decade when they choose from three candidates to replace a longtime supervisor now in prison.

Republicans Dorothy Longacre, Linda Lori and Glenn A. Wismer are competing for a six-year seat that Robert Holland held for 16-plus years before he stepped down amid accusations that he sexually assaulted a 92-year-old nursing home resident in 2006.

Holland, a 77-year-old Republican, pleaded guilty to aggravated indecent assault and related charges and is now serving a two- to four-year prison sentence in Bucks County.
