Apr. 30--SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Mathieu Schneider has one thought when he gets the puck and that's to shoot it. He has, to the admiration of a current opponent, one of the elite shots in the NHL and generally is able to put it to good use for the Red Wings.
That Schneider doesn't have a single shot on net yet in the second round has something to do with why the series is tied, 1-1, heading into tonight's Game 3 at HP Pavilion. The Sharks have done a spectacular job having all five skaters circling around their net, preventing the Wings from getting quality second-chance shots on goaltender Evgeni Nabokov.
