GEORGETOWN, Guyana, CMC - Spain and France have pledged support to the region in the key areas of law enforcement, combating the illegal narcotics trade, poverty alleviation and sustainable development assistance. The two European Union (EU) member countries used separate accreditation ceremonies at the Georgetown headquarters of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) to promise new areas of cooperation with the 15-member regional group.
