Apr. 20--HAMDEN -- Host America Corp. is selling its food service divisions to concentrate on energy management alone, the company announced late Thursday. The sale, which is subject to shareholder approval, will raise $3.7 million, the company said. If approved, Lindley Food Service in New Haven and Host America Corporate Dining in Hamden will be sold to groups headed by the current managers of the two divisions.

Host America spokesman Sam Ostrow said the divisions employ about 160 people each. "Those businesses will continue, so there should be no impact" on the workers, he said, noting, however, that will be up to the …
