Apr. 19--Two developments that will radically change the already fast-growing Sherrills Ford and Terrell communities in southeastern Catawba County got county commissioners' approval Monday. After four years of planning and negotiations with developers Crescent Resources and MAG Land Development, the board voted 4-1 to approve zoning changes, a development agreement and changes to the area's land-use plan. MAG Land wants to build up to 1,500 houses in a 700-acre subdivision called Key Harbor, off Island Point, Raccoon Track and Azalea roads.
